Calvary Baptist Church under the Ghana Baptist Convention has robed four persons as Reverend Ministers of the Gospel.
The sacred robing ceremony took place at the mega Shiashie branch of the 57-year-old vibrant church on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
Rev. Dr Frederick Primerose Deegbe, who retired in February after 41 years of service to the propagation of the Gospel, urged the new ministers to guard their calling.
“Guard your appetite and your ambition. Don’t let hunger for bread or fame compromise your calling, your ministry, your service, or your promotion,” advised the former Senior Pastor, Rev. Deegbe.
He further touched the hearts of congregants in attendance to help provide for ministers and encourage them to stay rooted in the Word of God, as he tasked the ministers to stay faithful.
Rev. Cecil Dodoo, Rev. Richard Kumakpata, Rev. Emmanuel Afutu, and Rev. Jewel Degadzor, supported by their wives, were presented as Reverend Ministers of Calvary Baptist Church.
