The national under-15 male football team of Ghana, the Black Comets, have been knocked out of the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship.
Host country Ghana suffered a 0-1 defeat to East African country Tanzania in the semi-final of the competition at the University of Ghana Stadium on Friday afternoon.
The defending champions Tanzania, determined to upset the Ghanaians, scored the winner as early as the 2nd minute of the encounter through Sadam Hamis.
The Black Comets would take on Uganda, who lost 5-6 on penalties to South Africa in the other semi-final tie, in the third and fourth playoff on the final day of the competition.
