Fans thronged the Trust Sports Emporium on Saturday, April 12, to witness the two epic finals, with a number of upsets leading to them.
Mfantsipim (Kwabotwe) dominated long-time rivals Adisadel College (Adisco) in the quarter-finals 12-6, then whitewashed West Africa Senior High School 14-1 in the last four for a clash with Keta Senior High School in the final.
The boys from Keta showed their mettle in the second semi-final clash against Okuapeman Senior High School, winning by a two-point margin to face Kwabotwe.
The end-to-end encounter with technical displays throughout resulted in Mfantsipim edging Ketasco 13-12 to win the national championship, as St. John’s Grammar easily dropped a 6-2 bomb on Ahantaman Senior High School.
